Interaction designers do not use same design even similar, they should take challenge out of patterns. In order to make a usable website, interaction designers should try to make learnable interface.

This website is made to promote Uniqlo’s brand-new Facebook account. It shows exciting motions with sounds like a 3D pinball game. The game attracts users to play and it shows clearly their aim by buttons leading to the Facebook website. There is a certain rule to continue a game. If you lost given your balls, you should visit Facebook, and then you can have one ball. When I am doing this game, I thought it is silly. However, it could be one of the strategies in order to promote their new Facebook account. Furthermore, ultimately it would be a great way to encourage Uniqlo’s online store to lead to high profit.

Interestingly, there are differences between http://www.uniqlo.com/luckymachine/uk/ and Uniqlo’s online store ; http://www.uniqlo.com/uk/.

Obviously these websites are used similar color by white and red as their concept. However, lucky machine; pinball game website consists of flash motions and sounds, while online store is based on only pictures with a clear layout like a magazine. In my opinion, these two websites have proper strategies to encourage users to join different websites. These websites have not only a guide of main & point color but also proper strategies of layouts, motions and sounds what they are used differently.

Costumize.me is a site that is selling costume. There are nine different concepts that you can choose. It is described interactive animations and pictures to promote users to buy, which means it shows clearly what the website is selling by realistic images and bright color. Moreover, those concepts are totally different, and each page has stories. There are a number of online shopping malls which show us only shopping list, picture, texts, or price. However, this website illustrates colorful animations, pictures and flash to encourage users’ imagination. In my opinion, those things make this website special.

Cheetos

This website provides animations and a game with a Cheetos story. Starting story is interesting and details of animation are great. However, background sounds is an offensive to the ear. In addition, I was thinking like that it is not working to promote their product as strategy while I am watching website. Although, it might be true that it shows users interesting animations with story, but structure of layout and even buttons are distractive to find. In addition, it is little unclear to find out their purpose of website.
